Little Miss Sunshine Series

Little Miss Sunshine is an original character exploring the complexities and hardships of self-formation and self-worth that Black women face. Specifically when black women are conforming to strict societal expectations of “who” they should be and “how” they should act. The pressure of creating and projecting a persona to the world that will be accepted and loved. Seeking to play the role of oneself, and being trapped by playing it. This series contains an original Little Miss Sunshine Sculpture, Circus Trailer, Circus Poster, Soft Puppet, and Sculptures of her Circus companions.
